उम्मीदवारों के नाम जल्द ऐलान करने की तैयारी : इंडियन ओसनिक पार्टी (सी पी व्यास)

इंडियन ओसनिक पार्टी जिसका चुनाव चिन्ह टेलीफोन है ने लोकसभा की तैयारियां शुरू कर दी हैं पार्टी लोकसभा चुनाव के सीटों पर उम्मीदवारों के नाम का ऐलान करने की तैयारी कर रही है ।

पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष द्वारा पार्टी का चुनावी घोषणा पत्र भी जारी हो चुका है उम्मीदवारों की चयन प्रक्रिया से जुड़े एक वरिष्ठ नेता ने कहा कि काफी हद तक कार्य पूरा हो चुका है । अन्य उम्मीदवारों का चयन होते  ही प्रत्याशियों की घोषणा आईओपी द्वारा कर दी जायेगी । लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए उम्मीदवारों के ऐलान की शुरुआत उत्तर प्रदेश से हो सकती है । पार्टी मार्च के अंत तक सभी प्रत्याशियो के नाम घोषित करने कि तैयारी में है । इंडियन ओसनिक पार्टी के प्रभारी ओंकार प्रसाद ने कहा कि यूपी में कुछ सीटों पर तस्वीर बेहद साफ़ है । वहीं दूसरी ओर सपा-बसपा, कांग्रेस ज्यादातर सीट पर उम्मीदवार घोषित कर चुकी है ।

भाजपा और आम आदमी पार्टी ने अपनी लोकसभा उम्मीदवार घोषित करने की प्रक्रिया तेज कर दी है । पूरे देश में उम्मीदवारी तलाशने की जिम्मेदारी आईओपी के राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारिणी सदस्य गजेन्द्र शर्मा के पास है । शर्मा उत्तर प्रदेश के गौतम बुद्ध नगर जिले से लोकसभा चुनाव भी लड़ेंगे । ऐसे में उनके लिए अपने प्रभार वाले क्षेत्र के उम्मीदवार पहले घोषित करने का जिम्मा है । इसके बाद वह पूरे देश की सीटों पर ध्यान केंद्रित कर सकते हैं । श्री गजेन्द्र का कहना  है कि इंडियन ओसनिक पार्टी 441 लोकसभा सीटों पर अपने प्रत्याशी खड़े करेगी वहीं उत्तर प्रदेश की सभी सीटों पर प्रत्याशी खड़े किये जाएंगे । क्योंकि इस बार पार्टी के नेतृत्व में, पार्टी की जोरदार एंट्री होने के आसार हैं |

पासी समाज के नेता भाजपा में शामिल

हारून खान नई दिल्ली। चुनाव की प्रक्रिया अभी ढंग से शुरू भी नहीं हुई कि जोड़-तोड़ की राजनीति भी शुरू हो गई है। हर सियासी दल एक दूसरे के यहां सेंध लगाने की जुगत में लगा हुआ है। मुखतलिफ सियासी जमातों के फुके हुए कारतूस ही अपने को भाव न मिलता देख दूसरे सियासी दलों में छलांग लगाने में लगे हुए है। इसी क्रम में आज भाजपा के पूर्व अध्यक्ष नितिन गडकरी के प्रयास के चलते अखिल भारतीय पासी समाज के राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष दलित मित्र राम बहोरिया को भाजपा में शामिल कर लिया गया। इससे पूर्व इंडियन जस्टिस पार्टी के सुप्रीमो डॉ. उदित राज भाजपाईयों को गालियां देते नहीं थकते थे अब वो भी भाईजपाई हो गए।

इंडियन ओसनिक पार्टी के राष्टï्रीय अध्यक्ष सी.पी. व्यास का कहना है कि चुनाव से पूर्व जो सियासी दल अपने आपको धर्म निरपेक्ष कहते नहीं थकते थे और भाजपा को पानी पी-पीकर कोसते थे। अब चुनाव के वक्त भाजपा में क्यों और कैसे शामिल हो रहे हैं। क्या उनके भाजपा में शामिल होने से भाजपा की विचारधारा में परिवर्तन और वह सेक्युलर हो गई है। उन्होंने देश की जनता से अपील करते हुए कहा कि ऐसे बहरूपियों को कतई वोट न दें बल्कि दल बदलुओं को वोट देने से बेहतर है कि जनता नोटा का प्रयोग करे।
सूत्रों के मुताबिक भाजपा में शामिल होने वाले पासी समाज के अन्य सदस्यों में प्रमुख हैं रामेश्वर पासी, कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष, महाराष्ट्र प्रदेश, सुनील पासी, महामंत्री, मध्य प्रदेश, प्रकाशचंद कैथवास, महामंत्री, छत्तीसगढ़, ब्रिजलाल बावरिया, अध्यक्ष, नागपुर महानगर, माखनलाल बहेलिया, अध्यक्ष, नागपुर जिला-ग्रामीण, किशोर रमेशचंद्र बहोरिया, महामंत्री, महाराष्ट्र प्रदेश, मनीश श्रीराम बहोरिया और यशपाल पासी।
इस अवसर पर वरिष्ठ समाज सेवी लालू भाई पटेल, हाजी असफाक पटेल, अध्यक्ष, भाजपा अल्पसंख्यक प्रकोष्ठ, नागपुर इकाई और स्वतंत्रता सेनानी वसंत कुमार चौरसिया विशेष रूप से उपस्थित थे।

Akhil Bhartiya Ram Rajya Parishad merges with Indian Oceanic Party (IOP)

नई दिल्ली। देश की आजादी के समय से चल रही राजनीतिक पार्टी अखिल भारतीय राम राज्य परिषद का इंडियन ओसनिक पार्टी में आज विधिवत विलय हो गया। इस अवसर पर दोनों ही सियासी पार्टियों के नेता सी.पी. व्यास और स्वामी प्रज्ञानंद सरस्वती ने इस की औपचारिक घोषणा की। इस मौके पर दोनों की पार्टियों के भारी तादाद में कार्यकत्र्ता भी मौजूद थे।

इंडियन ओसनिक पार्टी के राष्टï्रीय अध्यक्ष सी.पी. व्यास ने कहा कि अखिल भारतीय राम राज्य परिषद अभी तक एक खास वर्ग की राजनीति कर रही थी। उन्होंने आशा व्यक्त करते हुए कहा अब इंडियन ओसनिक पार्टी में विलय हो जाने के बाद से जहां एक तरफ पार्टी का एक विस्तार होगा वहीं दूसरी अखिल भारतीय राम राज्य परिषद पर लगा दाग भी दूर होगा। इस पार्टी के नेता स्वामी प्रज्ञानंद सरस्वती को फिलहाल इंडियन ओसनिक पार्टी का राष्टï्रीय उपाध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया है। इस अवसर पर डॉ. देबाकेश एम.बी. बरूआ को असम राज्य का अध्यक्ष एवं पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों का कॉर्डीनेटर भी नियुक्त किया गया है। इन दोनों नेताओं के पार्टी में शामिल होने के बाद से लोकसभा चुनाव में काफी बल मिलेगा। एक सवाल के जवाब में सी.पी. व्यास ने कहा कि हम अपने लोकसभा प्रत्याशियों की सूची भी जल्द ही जारी करेंगे। एक अन्य सवाल के जवाब में उन्होंने कहा कि आईटम गर्ल राखी सावतं को पार्टी विरोधी कार्यो में लिप्त होने के चलते निष्कासित कर दिया है।
सनद रहे कि इंडियन ओसनिक पार्टी ने राखी सावतं को आम आदमी पार्टी मुखिया अरविन्द केजरीवाल के समक्ष लोकसभा चुनाव लड़ाने की घोषणा की थी। लेकिन पार्टी ने राखी सावतं को अब बाहर का रास्ता दिखा दिया है।

Election manifesto of Indian Oceanic Party

इंडियन ओसनिक पार्टी भारतीयों की गरिमा और पहचान विश्व स्तर पर पुन: स्थापित करने के लिए अग्रसर है। कुछ संकुचित विचार धाराओं के कारण हम अपनी गरिमा को भूलते जा रहे हैं जिसने कभी हमें अंतर्राष्टï्रीय स्तर पर विश्वगुरू की उपाधि से सुशोभित कराया था। इंडियन ओसनिक पार्टी का यह घोषणा पत्र उन लोगों के लिए हैं जो भ्रष्टïाचार, आंतकवाद, भूख, लाचारी, बलात्कार, हत्या, सूखा और बाढ़ जैसी बीमारियों से निजात पाना चाहते हैं और देश की छवि व काया पलटना चाहते हैं।

01. इंडियन ओसनिक पार्टी सत्ता में आने पर सभी भारतीय नागरिकों के साथ एक समान व्यवहार करेगी।
02. देश के सभी छोटे एवं मझोले समाचार पत्रों को 25 प्रतिशत अतिरिक्त विज्ञापन देगी तथा समाचार पत्रों को सुचारू रूप से चलाने के लिए पांच लाख रुपये का ऋण बिना शर्त प्रदान करेगी। समाचार पत्रों के कार्यालय के लिए स्थान तथा पत्रकारों के लिए आवासीय व्यवस्था करेगी।
03. धार्मिक सस्थानों के अंतर्गत देश में चल रहे सभी शिक्षण संस्थानों को आर्थिक सहायता तथा आधुनिक शिक्षा से सबद्घ किया जाएगा तथा इन शिक्षण संस्थानों में शिक्षा ग्रहण करने वाले छात्रों को रोजगारपरक प्रशिक्षण भी दिया जाएगा।
04. सरकारी नौकरियो में उसी व्यक्ति को चयनित किया जाएगा जो अपने बच्चों को सरकारी स्कूलों में पढ़ायेगा ताकि निजी स्कूलों के समक्ष सरकारी स्कूलों को बनाया जा सके। सरकारी शिक्षण उपक्रमों को निजी क्षेत्र से हटाया जाएगा।
05. जिन सरकारी कर्मचारियों और अधिकारियों के बच्चे निजी स्कूलों में पढ़ रहे हैं उनसे सरकारी सुविधाएं लेकर गरीबों को दी जाएगी। केवल सरकारी स्कूलों में पढ़ाने वाले सरकारी अभिभावकों को नौकरियों में पदोन्नति दी जाएगी।
06. देश के सभी पुलिसकर्मियों से 8 घंटे की डयूटी ली जाएगी एवं उनको अन्य सरकारी कर्मचारियों की भांति सुविधाए एवं अवकाश दिए जाऐंगे। शिक्षकों से अनावश्यक काम लेने पर प्रतिबंध लगाया जाएगा।
07. मनरेगा की तर्ज पर सभी बेरोजगार युवकों को उनकी शिक्षा एवं योग्यता के अनुरूप न्यूनतम सौ दिन कार्य के लिए दिए जाएंगे।Tele
08. बिजली, पानी, स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा तथा आवास को मूलभूत अधिकारों के साथ ना केवल जोड़ा जाएगा बल्कि उपरोक्त सुविधाएं सरकार की ओर से मुहैया कराई जाएगी।
09. प्रत्येक वयस्क नागरिक को राशन कार्ड, मतदाता पहचान पत्र, ड्राईविंग लाइसेंस, पासपोर्ट, बैंक खाता को खुलवाने के लिए एकल खिड़की की व्यवस्था स्थानीय एसडीएम कार्यालय की जिम्मेदारी होगी।
10. देश में आयात कम किया जाएगा और निर्यात करने के सुगम अवसर उपलब्ध कराये जाएंगे ताकि देश के रूपये की कीमत डॉलर के समक्ष लाई जा सके।
11. काला धन को देश की संपत्ति बनाने के लिए सभी लोगों को एक निश्चित अवधि में बिना शर्त माफी के अवसर प्रदान करते हुए उनको व्यवसाय करने की अनुुमति तथा 24 घंटे के भीतर तमाम लाईसेंस और अनापत्ति प्रमाण पत्र दिए जाएंगे। काला धन से शुरू किये गए व्यवसाय पर किसी प्रकार का कोई कर नहीं लगाया जाएगा। एक वर्ष के बाद अर्जित आय पर कर लगाया जाएगा।
12. देश के सभी राजनेताओं एवं स्वयं सेवी संगठनों, एनजीओ, पर विदेश में बैंक खाता खोलने पर पूर्णरूप से प्रतिबंध लगाया जाएगा। विदेशों में खाता खोले जाने का पता लगने पर उस राजनेता, एनजीओ एवं अन्य को गैरकानूनी घोषित किया जाएगा।
13. राजनेताओं के पास से बरामद अवैध संपत्ति तथा भ्रष्टïाचार से अर्जित किए गए धन को देश की संपत्ति घोषित किया जाएगा।
14. किसी भी किसान की जमीन को जबरन अधिग्रहण नहीं किया जाएगा। किसानों की जमीन के साथ छेडछाड़ करने पर राजस्व अधिकारियों के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्यवाही की जाएगी।
15. किसानों के पशुओं, प्राकृतिक आपदा के कारण फसल के हुए नुकसान की भरपाई के लिए बीमा करवाया जाएगा।
16. रजिस्ट्री, दाखिल खारिज के साथ ही क्रेता को पुलिस की मौजूदगी में कब्जा भी दिया जाएगा। जिससे भूमि विवाद तथा भूमि संबंधी अपराधों पर अंकुश लगाया जा सकेगा।
17. दहेज लेने और देने वालों के खिलाफ दंडात्मक कार्यवाही की जाएगी। शादी से पूर्व स्थानीय पुलिस से अनुमति लेना अनिवार्य होगा। स्थानीय पुलिस शादी में दिए गए स्त्रीधन एवं बारातियों की वीडियों रिकार्डिंग करेगी। जिससे कि आवश्यकता पडऩे पर स्थानीय पुलिस अदालत में उक्त रिकार्डिंग पेश कर सके तथा दहेज प्रताडऩा का शिकार अनावश्यकरूप से न हो।
18. आंतकवाद, बलात्कार तथा भ्रष्टïाचार के मामलों को फास्ट ट्रैक कोर्ट में चलाया जाएगा। ताकि दोषियों को जल्द से जल्द सजा दिलवाई जा सके।
19. बलात्कार और आंतकवाद के झूठे आरोप लगाने वालों के खिलाफ दंडात्मक कार्यवाही तत्काल प्रभाव से की जाएगी। ताकि किसी भी निर्दोष को फंसाने से पहले व्यक्ति और विवेचना अधिकारी में कानून का भय व्याप्त रहे।
20. निर्दोष युवको को आंतकवाद के आरोप में गिरफ्तार करने वाले विवेचना अधिकारी के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्यवाही तथा निर्दोष युवकों को पुनर्वासित करने के लिए सरकारी सुविधा एवं माहौल प्रदान किया जाएगा।
21. आवासीय सुविधा प्रदान कराने के लिए बिल्डरों को एकल खिड़की (संबंधित विभागों के सभी कर्मचारी एक ही स्थान पर उपलब्ध रहकर) पर अनापत्ति प्रमाण पत्र दिए जाऐंगे।
22. देश की उच्च स्तरीय खुफिया एजेंसियों, फौज एवं पुलिस में प्रत्येक समुदाय के अनुपात में भागीदारी दी जाऐगी।

Loksabha Election 2014 Constituency Wise Election Schedule

The Election Commission of India will announce the polling dates for the loksabha Elections 2014 .As soon as the panel announces the dates, the model code of conduct will immediately come into effect.Thereafter the government and other political parties will not be able to take any major policy initiatives for the common masses.

Loksabha 2014 election held in 9 phases

Chief election commissioner VS Sampath announced the dates in a press conference. The two election commissioners HS Brahma and SNA Zaidi were also present.

The counting of votes to be held on May 16 and will be over in a day, Sampath told reporters.

The first date of poll shall be on April 7, 2014 which will be held in two states and six parliamentary constituencies will be covered. The second phase of poll on April 9 will cover seven constituencies in five states. The third phase on April 10 to cover 92 constituencies in 14 states and the fourth day of poll on April 12 to cover three states and five constituencies.
The fifth will be on April 17 which will cover 13 states and UTs and 122 constituencies and sixth phase will be on April 24, covering 12 states and 117 constituencies.

इंडियन ओसनिक पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सी.पी. व्यास ने कहा कि वह लोकसभा चुनाव में अपनी पार्टी से कई नामचीन हस्तियों को चुनाव मैदान में उतार रहे हैं। उनका कहना है कि वह इस बार 441 सीटों पर चुनाव लड़ायेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री और आप मुखिया अरविन्द केजरीवाल के मुकाबले में इंडियन ओसनिक पार्टी की ओर से आईटम गर्ल राखी सांवत को चुनाव मैदान में उतार रहे हैं। उन्होंने एक सवाल के जवाब में कहा कि कांग्रेस अध्यक्षा एवं यूपीए चेयरपर्सन सोनिया गांधी के समक्ष टेनिस खिलाड़ी सानिया मिर्जा को चुनाव मैदान में उतार रहे हैं। दोनों ही उम्मीदवारों के चुनाव मैदान में आने से इंडियन ओसनिक पार्टी के बाकी के लोकसभा प्रत्याशियों में खुशी की लहर है।

इंडियन ओसनिक पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सी.पी. व्यास ने कहा कि वह जल्द ही भाजपा की ओर से प्रधानमंत्री पद के दावेदार नरेन्द्र मोदी के सामने भी गोधरा कांड के शिकार हुए एक व्यक्ति को चुनाव मैदान में उतारने की घोषणा करने वाले हैं। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि इस बार के लोकसभा चुनाव में उनकी पार्टी की धमाकेदार एंट्री होगी। सरकार बनाने में उनकी पार्टी की अहम भूमिका होगी।

नई दिल्ली। कश्मीरी युवक लियाकत अली शाह की गिरफ्तारी और दिल्ली पुलिस स्पेशल सेल द्वारा दिल्ली को होली के अवसर पर फिदाईन हमलों से दहलाने की मनघड़ंत कहानी पर प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त करते हुए इंडियनल ओसनिक पार्टी के राष्टï्रीय अध्यक्ष सी.पी. व्यास(अवकाश प्राप्त आईएएस) प्रेस को जारी एक बयान में कहा है कि आखिरकार इस बार भी दिल्ली पुलिस का दावा झूठा निकला जिससे साफ जाहिर होता है कि दिल्ली पुलिस आतंकवाद के आरोप में निर्दोष मुस्लिम नौजवानों को गिरफ्तार करके नामालूम लाभ लेना चाहती थी।
दिल्ली पुलिस के संदिग्ध कारनामें की वजह से लोगों का विश्वास पुलिस से उठने लगा है और ये साबित हो रहा है कि दिल्ली पुलिस का स्पेशल सेल भी सांप्रदायिक मानसिकता से ग्रस्त है। उन्होंने कहा कि स्पेशल सेल ने लियाकत अली शाह को गौरखपुर (उत्तर प्रदेश) से गिरफ्तार किया और अगले दिन अराफात होटल में विस्फोटक सामग्री रखने का काम पुलिस के एक अधिकारी ने किया और आरोप कथित आतंकवादी पर लगा दिया। उन्होंने कहा है कि दिल्ली के मुस्लिम बहुल इलाकों से चुनाव जीतने वाले मुस्लिम विधायक इस मुद्दे पर रहस्यमय तरीके से चुप्पी साधे हुऐ हैं, उन्होंने विधायक शुऐब इकबाल की चुप्पी पर आश्चर्य जताया। सी.पी. व्यास ने आरोप लगाते हुऐ कहा कि अब तक तो औखला को ही कथित तौर से आतंकवाद की शरणस्थली के तौर पर पेश किया जाता रहा है लेकिन अब जामा मस्जिद जैसे पवित्र व एतिहासिक मुस्लिम इलाके को भी इसी श्रेणी में लाने की साजिश की जा रही हैं।

सी.पी. व्यास ने कहा कि पुलिस इस तरह की मनघड़ंत कहानी गढ़ कर मुस्लिम इलाकों को संदिग्ध इलाकों के रुप में पेश करना चाहती है जिससे राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर मुसलमानों की छवि को नुकसान पहुंचाया जा सके उन्होंने कहा कि पुलिस ने जिस संदिग्ध आतंकवादी का स्केच जारी किया है उसमें भी मुसलमानों से जुड़े एक विशिष्ट पहचान (जाली दार टोपी) प्रकट होती है जिसे मुसलमान ही पहनते हैं, इससे एक बार फिर आतंकवाद की पहचान को मुसलमानों के साथ जोडऩे की कोशिश की गई है।
उन्होंने कहा कि स्पेशल सेल आतंकवादी घटनाओं के तथ्यों को तोड़ मरोड़ कर प्रस्तुत कर रही है जिससे आम जनता में इसकी छवि खराब हुई है जिससे लोगों को उसके ऊपर विश्वास नहीं रहा है। उन्होंने गृहमंत्री से दिल्ली पुलिस की स्पेशल सेल को भंग करने और इस साजिश में शामिल अधिकारियों के विरुद्ध सख्त कार्रवाई करने की मांग की, साथ ही मुस्लिम राजनेताओं और मुस्लिम संस्थाओं से अपील की है कि इस गैर लोकतांत्रिक, गैर सैक्यूलर साजिश के खिलाफ आवाज बुलंद करें।

 The problem is that the whole bureacracy and politician is corrupt. For everything, even a small electric line conection you have to bribe in India. All the law created in parliament are useless because bureacracy takes it just as means to earn money. You pay money and you can bypass any law in India. The whole political system is based on black money. Every minister is corrupt, actually more than 50% have criminal background. In last 64 years no bureacrat or minister was ever punished. The reason is simple. PM is supported by ministers and CBI is under control of Prime Minister (PM). Why the PM will be honest to punish the people by whom support s/he is PM.

This is the most childish administrative setup ever seen, a criminal being judge for himself. Now the thing has gone for worst, these politician have become so besharam and bold, just see how they have done corruption in CWG so openly, they know that it will be known to the World but they don't care. After 64 years of independence, 60% of Indian live below poverty line, earning less than a dollar per day, homeless, no food, no education, full of diseases, no future for their children.

The simple reason is that all the developmental money meant for them is taken away by corrupt politician and bureacrat. India is projecting itself a developing superpower but it can be compared with African countries only. According to CIA 70% of India is in insurgency from JK, North Eastern States, Bihar, WB, Orrisa, Chattisgarh, UP, part of Maharastra, part of AP, Jharkhand all are disturnbed area. The reason is simple poverty and under development. In 1990, then PM Rajiv Gandhi said that when they release Rs 100 from Delhi only Rs10 reach the needy people, 90% is eaten by corrupt midleman. Now I guess only 1% reaches to needy man. India is fast becoming next Somalia, Civil war, poverty, diseases, total chaos. Frankly India is at 3rd stage of Cancer, surviving on ventilator. After 9/11 attack, US immediately fixed their laws. there is no attack after that. In India, we know that corruption is everywhere, we know that nobody is punished ever but we never fix it due to vested interest. I am sure Politician will never fix for themselves. Politician know that People have no choices, they have to choose between few political parties and people can only rotate them. India being fractured society with so many languages, religion and caste, it will be difficult to survive as country if majority of people lose faith in constitution.

Supreme Court: Courts cannot decide poll dates

New Delhi, Jan 13 (IANS) Dismissing a petition seeking rescheduling of elections in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, the Supreme Court Friday declined to interfere in the conduct of assembly elections in the two states.

Petitioner C.P. Vyas, who is the president of Indian Oceanic Party had sought quashing of the Election Commission's notification of Dec 24, 2011, announcing the election schedule of five state assemblies of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur.

An apex court bench of Chief Justice S.H. Kapadia, Justice A.K. Patnaik and Justice Swatanter Kumar said it was not for the court to decide on the election schedule. As counsel for the petitioner Vyas pressed his plea, the court retorted saying: "We don't want to be educated on the election laws."

Petitioner Vyas had sought rescheduling on grounds that it clashed with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) exams and Uttar Pradesh School Board exams as well as municipal elections in Uttar Pradesh on Feb 18 besides severe cold in Uttarakhand.

Describing the Election Commission decision to hold elections in the two states as "arbitrary, whimsical and actuated by malafide intentions", the petitioner wondered as to why the poll panel was in hurry to hold election despite the objections.

Uttar Pradesh will have staggered voting in February, while Uttarakhand will hold election Jan 30.

The date for elections to the municipal bodies in Uttar Pradesh to be held Feb 18 was fixed by the apex court, the petition said.

The petition said the teachers, who are normally engaged for conduct of elections, would find it difficult to hold fair examinations in school boards. Electioneering, coupled with consequent heated political atmosphere, would not be conducive for the preparation of students appearing in the board examinations.

On Uttarakhand, the petitioner said that both the Chief Election Officer of the state Radha Raturi and Chief Minister B.C. Khanduri had asked the Election Commission to hold polling in the last week of February as on Jan 30 the cold conditions would be too severe for polling.

They had informed the Election Commission that 35 percent of the 9,744 polling stations in Uttarakhand would be in snow-bound areas.

The petition said the decision of the Election Commission to hold elections in the two states is vitiated by the "hurdles and problems likely to be caused to the people of the said States".

Indian Oceanic Party (IOP) was launched here today, promising that youth power will be used for development of the country.
Every party has used youth of the country for their vested interest and the opportunist politicians only misguided them, but our party would use youth power for development of the country, claimed IOP.
''Our country has the biggest youth population in the world. Yet we have not succeeded to utilise it. Our party would give maximum opportunity to the youth to contribute in the development of the country,'' C P Vyas, national president of IOP said at a press conference.
''The main agenda of the IOP would be betterment of education facilities for youth and opening of new employment opportunities for them,'' he added.
The IOP president said his party will serve for the needs of the poor, uplift of the starving masses, rescue of the oppressed class and reduction of wide economic disparity.
